Hello!
I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. Last week the students did really well on their DIBELS tests. There are 8 students who haven't been tested yet! This week will be a bit different. We will not be starting a new unit because we have a literacy mid-year benchmark to take this week. It is similar to the weekly comprehension tests they take on Fridays. They will not receive spelling words and I am not requiring a reading log this week either. Please encourage your child to do their best on their testing each morning. THANK YOU!! Hello!! Welcome to third term. I locked grades this morning and set up 3rd term's gradebook. I had a lot of students not turn in their DIBELS practice reading log from last week. :( PLEASE GET THOSE TURNED IN THIS WEEK! The practice will be so good for them before they take the real test this week.

Both were handed out before the break. Next week starts DIBELS testing. We have been working diligently in the classroom on reading fluency, accuracy and retell.
